    Haydee Dabusti created an excellent Aida, dramatically rich and sang with full knowledge of Verdi's score demands.
    Her voice was perfect, on target, with a precise tune, showed no fissures, and a completely even register. Her rendering of the 3rd . act aria "O patria mia..." was received with an ovation by the appreciative and enthusiastic audience. She was the fragile, fearful and suffering slave Verdi imagined. 
     Dabusti's constant growth and improvement --in all aspects-- are the result of her constant, persistent dedication to her art. And it shows.

    It was very interesting to hear soprano Haydée Dabusti in roles that she doesn ´t sing usually. She should face more frecuently these kind of roles (Butterfly and Mimi), that allow her to work best the delicateness and expression of her voice. Butterfly was specially emotive in the aria "Tu, tu piccolo iddio".
    There ´s no doubt that Dabusti ´s participation in this concert showed that she have not to sing only the usual roles of force, she is a multifaceted soprano and she is able to afford different opera characters.

    The participation of Haydée Dabusti deserves special words. It ´s not frecuently to see all the improvements that this soprano had achieved along the same year.  She is working hard: pianissimos, grave notes and delicateness that years ago were unthoughtable. I think she deserves to sing both roles, Butterfly and Mimi. I expect these opportunities will come soon.

    She showed an equal voice along the whole register and rich appropriate shades. Her "Deh, non volerli vittine" was exemplary, such as her "Qual cor tradisti".

    The interesting career of Haydée Dabusti deserves all praises. She is an exemplary artist in constant self-improvement. Nowadays, she is the continental reference in the art of interpretation. She is a spinto soprano with an outstanding colour of voice (with metalallic characteristics). She is able to sing repertory of lyric sopranos and spinto sopranos as well as some dramatic compositions.
    In her concert, she offered a varied repertory and showed great fortitudes. She coud express the dramatic character of the arias with genuine art of singing.

    Viña surrendered to Haydée Dabusti ´s voice.
    The public gave great ovations to the "Best Feminine Singer of Angentine" (2007), a prize that Dabusti received in her country from the Asociación de Críticos Musicales. She sang magisterially opera arias of Mozart, Cilea, Boito, Charpentier, Catalani, Bellini, Verdi, Puccini and Giordano

    "Up to this moment, there ´s no spinto soprano in Argentina with Dabusti ´s voice. She showed it performing the main roles of operas such as Aida, Norma, Nabucco, Andrea Chénier and Gioconda.
    This Tosca is a new proof. Few sopranos can manage this role without singing almost an awful sound. Dabusti sang the whole notes with great security, even the highest and demanding ones (usually shouted) in her duo with Scarpia and the last act of the opera ("lo quella lama li piantai nel cor"). She sang with unlimited musicality, passion and an increasing control of the stage.
