Biography
 
Haydée Dabusti

The soprano Haydée Dabusti was born in Argentina. She started her musical career at Columbus Theatre Institute, where the singer accomplished vocal training with the teacher Teresa Serantes and took acting lessons with with Eduardo Rodríguez Arguibel and Constantino Juri. She studied Italian at Dante Alighieri Association and took piano lessons at Franz Liszt Conservatory.

Her repertory masters were Reinaldo E. Censabella, Catalina Hadis and Dante Ranieri. At present, she improves her repertory with Susana Cardonnet.

Haydée Dabusti sang at the major argentine theatres such as Columbus Theatre, Argentine
Theatre of La Plata, Avenida Theatre, Roma

Theatre of Buenos Aires, Margarita Xirgu Theatre and the Comunal Theatre of Bahía Blanca. And she also sang abroad at Pablo Tobón Uribe Theatre (Colombia), the Comunal Theatre of Temuco (Chile), Lima ´s Segura Theatre (Perú) and Comunal Theatre of Viña del Mar (Chile.)

In 2001, the soprano made her one ´s debut of "La Traviata" in Colombia and personified the title role of "Manon Lescaut" at Roma Theatre of Buenos Aires.
During 2002, she made her first performance of the title role "Aida" in Manufactura Papelera Auditorium and participated in the opera "Ballo in maschera" at Roma Theatre.

With a whole argentine company of outstanding singers, in 2003, she also made her debut of the demanding rol
of "Norma", with great affluence of public and specialist critics, at Avenida Theatre.
Along 2004, Dabusti interpreted the famous role of "Norma" again at the Comunal Theatre of Temuco. During the same year, she sang in the production of the opera "Don Carlo" at Belgrano´s Auditorium (Buenos Aires) and made her first performance of "Tosca" in the centenary of Roma Theatre.
In October 2005, she sang in "La Walkyria" and "La Zapatera prodigiosa" at Columbus Theatre and personified "Tosca" at Avenida Theatre.

During 2006, the soprano featured in the opera "Andrea Chénier", which took place at Argentine Theatre of La Plata, and was invited by "Bel Canto Association" to be the protagonist of "Madama Butterfly" at Lima ´s Segura Theatre. Along this year, she performed newly the role of "Aida" at the Comunal Theatre of Bahía Blanca and interpreted the role of "Senta" in the opera "El buque fantasma" at Columbus Theatre.
At the beginning of 2007, the soprano opened the opera ´s seasons at Argentine Theatre of La Plata, Avenida Theatre and Mar del Plata ´s Auditorium with the title roles of "Norma", "Aida" and "Tosca" respectively. Then, she interpreted "Tosca" at the Comunal Theatre of Bahía Blanca, performed the main role of "Gioconda" at Roma Theatre and personified "Abigaille" in a concert version of "Nabucco" at Belgrano ´s Auditorium.

She won the prize as the Best Feminine Singer 2007 with José Cura, the Best Masculine Singer 2007. This award was given by the Argentine Musical Critics Association.



In 2008, she opened the opera ´s season at Argentine Theatre of La Plata with the title rol of "Tosca" (Puccini). Then, she sang "Norma", Bellini ´s masterpiece, with Rosario´s Opera and The Circle Theatre Coproduction. Her next arregement was the performance of Abigaille ("Nabucco", de Verdi), in a concert version, at Auditorium Theatre of Mar del Plata. Moreover, she performed "Manon Lescaut (Puccini) in the century of Comunal Theater Rafael de Aguiar, in San Nicolás city.

At the end of 2008, she was invited by the authorities of the Comunal Theatre, in Viña del Mar, Chile, to sing
famous arias from the operas "Die Zauberflöte", "Adriana Lecouvreur", "Mefistofele", "Louise", "La Wally", "Norma", "Otello", "Tosca", "Manon Lescaut", "Don Carlo" and "Andrea Chénier". In that concert she was accompained by the pianist Alexandra Aubert.

Inmediately, she sang the title role of "Norma" in a concert version that was conducted by master Mario Perusso at Belgrano´s Auditorium.

That concert was the VI Beneficence Lyric Concert in which Haydée Dabusti took part.
Then, she sang renamed arias from the operas "La Boheme" and "Madama Butterfly" with the Sinfonica Nacional Orquestra at Bolsa de Comercio of Buenos Aires. The concert was conducted by Master Reinaldo Censabella.

In the International Women ´s day 2009, Casa de la Provincia de Buenos Aires distinguished Haydée Dabusti with a diploma (signed by governor Daniel Scioli) for her outstanding contribution to the cultural work of the province. This distinction took place in a ceremony that commemorated the 90th Anniversary of Eva Perón ´s birth.


At the beginning of 2009, she made her first performance of the title role of Leonora (Trovatore) at Argentine Theatre of La Plata. Carlos Vieu was the conductor of the opera and Marcelo Perusso, the régie.
Then, she performed newly the title role of "Leonora" (Trovatore) at Comunal Theatre of Bahía Blanca, on occasion of the 50th anniversary of its Orquestra Sinfonica. Susana Frangi was the muscial conductor and Jorge Ponzone, the régie.
During september, Hadydee Dabusti will partipate in two distinguished concerts. One of them will take place because of the 10th anniversary of Alfredo Kraus´s death at Belgrano ´s Auditorium, in which she will sing arias of "La Traviata". The other will be in Hotel Claridge, where she will interpretate arias of the operas "Un ballo in Maschera", "Andrea Chénier", "Norma", "Tosca" and "Don Carlo". In this occasion, Dabusti will sing with the tenor Leonardo Pastore and both will be accompanied by the french pianist Alexandra Aubert .
Along november and december, she will take part of the Oficial Liric Season of Columbus Theatre in Verdi´s opera, "I Due Foscari", with Carlos Vieu, as the musical conductor, and Louis Désiré, in charge of the régie.

 From Verdi, Nabbucco´s "Abigaille", the title rol of "Aida" at Pucris Theatre of Brazil , Puccini´s "Suor Angelica" conducted by Master Mario Perusso .Icentennial Season of the Colon Theatre of Buenos Aires, "Violanta" of Korngold ( Violanta) and Alice Ford, from Verdi´s "Falstaff".
